Trouble Accessing Team Foundation Server Remotely
We are accessing TFS through remotely. But we are not able to get all functionality as it should get no matters we logged as Administrator or redear.Bellow two are the features that are not accessible :
- Documents and Reports Node of Team explorer getting Cross(X) with red.
- Not able to see the Project in Solution explorer.
We are accessing through VPN and on Beta 3 refresh.
Can you please give some ideas on these issues?

If you can upgrade to the RC version. It has fixed a lot of issues not only this situation. I have used TFS over VPN and although it is slow, I can see and access everything. If you do decide to upgrade please visit www.teamsystemrocks.com and look for instructions for the upgrade from Beta Refresh 3 to RC.

Hi, I would like to know if the issue was fixed with the RTM of TFS.
With Beta 3 I could access TFS remotely, but the Documents and Reports URL was always http://machinename (instead domainname) . So documents and reports were never accesible from the outside.
What would be the recommended configuration for accesing from LAN and internet?

Sorry, till now i have not upgraded to RC , still on beta 3 refresh due to lake of time and kepping busy with some othere work.
Ok how ever i can suggest you to upgrade this to RC, this should fix your problem.Let me know the result after you upgrade it.
