Edit reports from Agile process template?
Hi,
We are running our project based on a custom process template and evertything works fine except one thing. I am not able to edit existing reports - and with existing reports I mean reports that came with the Agile process originally. I can run them and use them perfectly but when I try to open an existing reports from the report server inside Microsoft Report Builder I get the error: "Server data sources do not match RDL"
Anyone who knows what i can do to fix this?

How do I create this DataSources?
When I tried to use a datasource, it asks, for a connection ?, an inital databse , etc..
Where do I have to connect it ?
Hi Tia,
You can follow the following steps in order to download an already deployed report, customizing it and re-uploading it to the server:
- Browse to you reportserver at http://AppTierName/reports/ProjectName
- Click on the "Related Work Items" Report
- Click on the Properties tab
- Under Report Definition, click on "Edit" to download and save the rdl file on your local machine
- You can then create a new report project, create the two datasources, add this report and make the appropriate customizations to it.
- When you are done you can re-upload the file and replace the existing report with this new one in the same tab by clicking on "Update" instead of "Edit"
Note that if you want this report to be the new report used in all the new TFS projects created, you will have to change the process template to include this updated report.
