Installing Team Foundation Server Beta 2

I just completed downloading Team Foundation Server Beta 2. The Installation Guide notes that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 in a prerequisite and that only the April CTP is supported. However, I haven't seen an April CTP of SQL Server available on MSDN. Will it be posted shortly or am I just missing its location in the tree?

It would appear you are correct. I just spoke with someone at Microsoft about it and they said it's coming soon.

Yes, tomorrow mid-day. I've confirmed with the MSDN Subscriber Downloads. They have the bits sitting there ready to go...you just can't see them yet Smile

I was able to get all of the pieces installed successfully, thanks to Rob Caron's invaluable installation guide.
Only one minor glitch. The TFS Server machine initially refused to recognize the TFSSERVICE account and somehow took down the ability connect to the DC with an 'RPC server is unavailable' message. More details at http://www.amaxo.com/blog.
If I encounter any related problems I'll post in a new thread.

I checked the MSDN subscriber downloads and let me assure you that the link for SQL Server 2005 April CTP is NOT available. Can some one PLEASE let me know here to download it since I am unable to install VSTS without the SQL. I think Microsoft should make life easier by putting the bits and pieces in place before belabouring about their products!!!!!

MadHur - the post above was for the April 2005 CTP of SQL Server 2005. TFS has RTM'd -- as far as I know, you can no longer deploy Beta2. The RC and/or December CTP may still be available (I think they both use the RTM version of SQL Server 2005).
