Changing the logged in user

Hi,

I am using team foundation server for workgoups. The server is windows 2003 in a workgroup, we are not using active directories.

The initial login to TFS was with the admin account to set up the users. I added all the users but cannot get a login screen. TFS always logs me in as admin. If I change the admin password on the server it gave me a login screen, but when I reset the admin password back to the original, TFS stopped asking for username/password and started logining me in as admin again.

Is there any way to get the login screen to reappear short of changing my server admin password?

Thanks

Rebecca

Perhaps the info is cached. Try:

In Control Panel, open User Accounts.

Click the Advanced tab.

Click Manage Passwords.

Locate the entry for your Team Foundation Server, and then click Remove.

Open Team Explorer and re-connect

This solved my issue

Few minutes ago, I found solution for similar problem.

I setup digest (basic works too) authentification for "Team Foundation Server" Web-site in IIS Admin.

I would strongly advise against doing it that way. There are known problems with having TFS running in Basic or Digest mode:-
