RTM installation failure - error 3200 "stsadm.exe"

upon trying to install the RTM version I've encountered a problem which I can't overcome.

in the installation phase (after the service/reports/smtp definitions) i get an err message : "Error 32000. the commandline "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\BIN\stsadm.exe"...'returned a non-zero value:-1."

I've been struggking with it for the past week.... plz help....

the problem is that the TFservice, TFreports and TFsetup accounts are not a member of the STS_WPG security group. Add what ever account you're setting as the service, reports and setup accounts to this group .

You then need to download the stsadmin gui tool from http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/downloads/components/detail.asp?a1=443

run this twice with the following input to the url and type boxes

http://localhost/Reports in the url box, and 'exclusion' in the type box

and then

http://localhost/ReportServer in the url box and 'exclusion' in the type box

I got an error from the command box that opens , but it didn't matter.

an you should get by this one

I'm now getting a 503 error, if you find out how to fix it post it here please.
