Hi Will,

You said that the instructions for restoring data to a different server didn't work for you. Could you provide some more details? If there are incorrect or misleading steps in the documentation, we'd love to fix them.

Also, have you seen the topics on moving your Team Foundation Server deployment? They can be found here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms404879(VS.80).aspx. While I doubt they'll help now (it sounds like you're reinstalling your system), they might help later on.

Hi. Sorry for the delay in replying - been too busy to check the forum!

Basically, all the documentation I found on the internet with regards to migrating to a different server left me with a non working system at the end. I did eventually work out how to do it and I have documented this in a word doc. If you are interested please email me and I will send you the document.
