Using Work Items for enhancement requests

Hi,

I'm sure I remember in earlier version of Team Server there was a work item type for enhancement. Is this right? If so, why was it taken out?

If I'm wrong, what are people using to record enhancement requests in to a project?

Kind regards

Graham

If you're using MSF for Agile Software Developemt - v4.0, then there's not a specific work item type for change requests. MSF for CMMI Process Improvement - v4.0, though, does include a Change Request work item type. You could extract the Change Request work item type from the CMMI process template and import it into your project. Just download the process template, pull the Change Request work item type, and import it using witimport.exe.

Since you want to track change requests this way, you might want to consider using the CMM process template for your next project. Here's something to help you make that determination.
