Hi, Lufa,

Have you installed IIS(ASP.NET enabled) before you tried to install TFS?

Many prerequisites should be done before you install TFS.

Please, read the TFS Installation Guide provided by Microsoft(you can find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e54bf6ff-026b-43a4-ade4-a690388f310e&displaylang=en).

Follow the walkthrough described that guide.

Hi, lufa,

Hmm ... in that case, how about installing IIS and Windows SharePoint Services again? Have you tried it already?

Sorry, I'm not so helpful this time.

Good luck!

I am having the same problem. I freshly installed SharePoint, but I cannot reinstall IIS because it is being used right now in production.. Is there a way I can configure a website to mimick the Default Web Site created when IIS is first installed?

Hi all,

Is anyone still experiencing difficulty related to the install of TFS? If so, I will have the appropriate person assigned to provide help. If your issue doesn't concern TFS, please start a new thread in the appropriate forum.

Thanks,
-Matt

And honnestly, the workaround is very light.

My solution was to reinstall IIS.. This isn't ideal in a production environment, and there really should be an easy way for TFS to reconfigure the default IIS site.

This IIS was in fact production, so I had to do it at 3AM. Thank you TFS.
