Great news, looking forward to make authoring tool
I am glad MS got involved in HD DVD as this is the technology that is based on already proven and decade tested DVD technology.
I am looking forward to start making a HD authoring software once these things get some legs (like a way to play the iHD :-).

Thanks to the iHD developers at MS to push HD DVD. It certainly did help to speed up the HD-DVD when MS got involved!

I've never use DVD-lab PRO, so not really familiar w/ the s/w.
Are you planning to create HD-DVD / iHD authoring s/w where user can create playlist, markups, scripts and the ability to preview (simulator) the iHD animation? When do you think you can start and finish this? That awesome. It sounds like a huge project. Do you know other HD Authoring tool that has capabilities to write code and preview iHD?
Do you think Microsoft will also release similar product soon?
It will be great if somebody could write an Flash-like interface / IDE, where animation (iHD) can be easily created and previewed. Maybe Adobe-Macromedia should involve with this.

I have finished a few codes too, so I would like to join you developing an authoring tool. Do you develop in a team? In which language do you write the code? (I do in VB .NET)

Thank you, I already downloaded it and it is very helpful, but what I meant was, that OscarM and I could develop a tool together, because that would work better than everyone for his own. So I would like to ask him whether that would be OK. But I havn't got a response from him yet.
