We have a site implemented that contains a Pages library with multiple pages. The Pages library has a workflow associated that handles the "Publish major version" event.

My issue is that in some instances, we are looking to have the workflow event defined at the page level. However, SharePoint is preventing this from allowing multiple "Publish Major" workflows.

My question is WF related but may be better answered elsewhere. Using content types, can I have pages defined which will allow for different workflows to handle the "Publish Major" event at a page level.

It is my understanding that workflows are allowed to be defined at the individual level but this also seems to be restricted for page publishing.
