ISSUE 1 -I had previously downloaded (in October 2004) Visual Basic 2005 Express Beta 2. EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL. I created a program that I am modifyingbut suddenly my download EXPIRED.
I downloaded THE MOST RECENT VERSION of Visual Basic 2005 Express Beta 2. When I registered and activated it and opening the IDE for the first timeThe Getting started Page would not appear! HOW DO I FIX IT?

Issue 2 - I tried to load my project created under the OLDER BETA 2 and the TOOLBOX did NOT have any items in it at all. I did a BUILD of the old project and changed several deprecated pieces of code. However--there were errors involving project code THAT I DID NOT WRITE. I then decided to create a new project under the NEW BETA 2. I COULD NOT successfully add any file from my old project to the new project. A "PACKAGE LOAD FAILURE" occurs. The message siad

"Package 'Visual Studio Settings and Project Designers Package' has failed to load properly. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

I really need to finish my program but this Beta 2 "upgrade" is REALLY SLOWING ME DOWN.

Am I able to REINSTALL the OLD BETA 2? It would save me a greaqt deal of time.
