Hi,

Now, Activesync 4.0 can help PocketPc device connect to internet.
I did like that: ( My XDA IIs version French )
1. Parametre -> connextions -> Carte reseau
2. I use: Internet with "pilote Ethernet compatible NE2000"
2. OK

But something i can't understand, i can use IE to connect to internet from
Device ( Activesync 4.0 via usb ), but when i try to ping to www.google.com
i see that ping Failed. So why can i still connect to internet?

Thank for your explanation.

Your Internet Provider is most likely filtering traffic to Port 7 (used for Ping).
Many providers only pass the important ports (like 80, of course) and
restrict the others that are often used for Security Attacks.
For instance, I can't ping Google.com on my Desktop, where I have a collegue
with a different service provider has no problem pinging it.
