Bilding a .Net Windows Service

If this is in the wrong place Sorry!

I am new to VB windows development. I have 7 years in Classic ASP and 3 in ASP.Net (including web services).
However, I have now been tasked with turning some VB6 windows Applications into .Net Window Services.
Can any one out here tell me where to find information on this? the knowledge base is pretty sketchy for windows services though I can find more than needed for web services.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated… even telling me what forum to post this to.
