replication component missing error while installing Sql Mobile2005

Hello
i installed sql2005,first when I install it,it dont show SqlMobile option in available component lists,second when i install sqlce MSI file seprately,it searches for SQl Replication service and says its not installed,though its already installed on machine,i can install it anyway but why this message comes up? did anyone else experience this?

Yes SQL 2005 install does not show option but it install SQL Mobile.

You should see folowing dlls

C:\program files\microsft SQL Server\90\tools\binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\sqlcese30.dll, sqlceqp30.dll and few more etc. If these dlls are not there it means there is problem in installation. If these dlls are there you should test running SQL Mobile. It should work.

If you are installing the MSI you should have VS 2005. VS shows option of components to install and SQL Mobile is one of option.
