Which WF version to use with examples ?

I'm trying to explore the State Machine examples ansd tutorials, particularly where SQL tracking and persistence is used. I don't seem to be able to find a set of matching/working framework, samples and tutorials.

I'm hoping someone out there has a good idea on which version of WF (e.g. beta 1, beta 2_2, RC1) is most stable with the State Machine, SQL Tracking and Persistence examples (and where to get those matching samples & tutorials from).

Thanks in advance,

Richard

If you are just starting out with WF you should be working with the latest release, which is RC2.Links for downloading it can be found here along with the matching Hands on Labs.Help for WF can be found online here and the latest samples are here.

Thanks for the reply. However:

- I clicked on your link to the latest samples, clicked on the "Download Sample" link and received a 404 "location cannot be found" page

- I clicked on your link to the "help for WF", clicked on the "Windows Workflow Foundation Samples" link and received a 404 "location cannot be found" page.

Any ideas ?

Looks like there are several bad links in the Help file online, to include the sample files and the link to the samples on the main page. For now work on the Hands on Labs and I will have someone look into the bad links and post back once they have been fixed. Another option for getting the help file is to install the Window SDK from here.

Thanks; all things considered, I'm not prepared to blow away my beta 2/2.2 installation just yet. Is it possible to download and review the tutorials without having to install a new version of the WF and .Net frameworks ? I have had a reasonably good hunt around and can't see a standalone link for just the tutorials.

Thanks again,
