PLEASE HELP ME , THERE IS AN ERROR --> "Tracemessage could not be located"

Hi,

When i started iHD Sümulator it gives a pop up error with the name:

iHDsim.exe- Entry Point Bot Found

With the message:

"The procedura entry point TraceMessage could not be located in the dynamic library ADVAPI32.dll"

Please help i want to see the sample HD files..

What operating system are you using?

I have seen Vista Beta 2 complain randomly about issues with this DLL, but never XP.

Ah. That would explain it - iHDSim requires XP (Server 2003 should also work once you get the right video driver).

I also tried in XP Professional on a different PC. When i try to open

ihdSim.exe it again givers a "Enry Not Found" "The procedure entry

point SetIDDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library

KERNEL32.dll" message..

Did it have Service Pack 2 installed?

Are you sure that's the right error? I couldn't find any references to "SetIDDirectory" in MSDN
