Gwaam Concept - Need help!
Good day
We have developed a new concept in multi user gaming called Gwaam. We need help from someone with the MSN API to produce a Gwaam for MSN version.
Desktop demo and instructions can be seen atwww.gwaam.com
if you can help or know anyone please let us know - understand there is time involved so we can be flexible about payments/shares/recognition
Hi,
I haven't downloaded Gwaam, but I only read the How to play and I think I understand the game.
In the first place, keep in mind that the MSN games are only for 2 players. In the future there may be an option for more players, but for now it only supports 2 players.
I really like the concept, it is an interesting and new game, but I think you should first think about how to implement it. You can off course let the 2 users in MSN participate in a bigger game. But keep in mind you can only use JavaScript and VBScript to make the game, no flash or so.
Hope this helps you, I am willing to help you a bit, but I don't have much time at the moment (doing too much projects) so I cannot promise to make it for you or so.
Ah yes forgot that, you're right! But can you start the app then? I mean, if you submit an XML file with the option to use flash, will it be accepted?
Btw, I just downloaded Gwaam and I must say, I'm already addicted... It is a really basic but interesting game!
Edit: I thought about it and it doesn't need flash to make it, it isn't very hard to make this with a couple of images in JavaScript.
It's a pretty cool game. It would be great to see it in Messenger using the Activity API. You might want to think about combining it with a BOT or integrating with the Alerts service, so there is an easy way for people to interact with it and be reminded about it.
There's more about BOTS in another thread in the Messenger forum. You can setup Alerts by going to http://signup.alerts.msn.com.
Cheers,

I am currently working together with Gwaam in making an MSN version of this game.
We'll make a simple version first, like the demo on the site, but of course we will add more features later. If there is any news about it, I'll try to post it here.
I promised to post updates in this thread, so I'll do it. Gwaam has been online on the network for a while now, but we felt like it was time for a new design. So we've updated the design, and included some levels of difficulty. I think it is really a cool game!
