I'm not from Microsoft so I can't give you an "official" answer, but I have seen the system on Windows Live Session. It is still in a alpha stage, and I think it can take a while before it'll be beta. Nobody mentioned a release date or something, so I'm not sure.
If there is a beta, you'll definatly read it on people blogs etc. See my space for example...
