Vista API for GIS support

Hi there,

I am currently working on Vista build 5384. Via some article I came to know that Vista exposes some API's for direct GIS support. However, I am unable to locate those API's. I need to know whether there is any such API for direct GIS support and if there is any help or pointers to it would be very useful.
