Bulk File Copies
Ive noticed that when you do a large file copy (ie copy the contents of a DVD) via windows explorer it takes for ever - in the region of an hour and a half. However if you do the same copy via the command line using xcopy, the whole thing is over in just a few minutes. Im guessing this is in some way related to the ghost service. Is there any way round this - can I selectively turn this service on and off or just apply it to specific directories. Or is the slowness caused by something completely different
