Can I reactivate an answered question in a thread?

If i have found an (already answered) thread on the subject I want to ask about, can I reactivate the question in that thread? Consider my question could be kind of an extended version of the first question in the thread, and calls for a more thorough answer? Or do I have to start a new thread on the subject?

I would suggest posting your question separately and maybe linking to the other question if it relates or the answers relate but not in “I’ve got the same problem as this one except”.

I take it as it is not possible to reactivate questions. Thanks for the answer.

Threads aren't "deactivated" (unless they're locked by a moderator/admin).

You can add another post to an existing thread asking a different-but-related questionl; but it's not going to get the same exposure as starting a new thread.
