Cannot get to thread

I received an email saying there was a reply - I clicked on the link in the email - no use. Also there are no listings under My threads and even a search of relavent words didn't even result in my posting!

What error message do you get when you try to go to the message?

What was the title of the post you posted?

Please post the URL you get in the alert e-mail?

the title is: Windows Genuine Advantage

I didn't get errors - I just got a whole list of posts that didn't relate to mine.

I am not able to find any posts from you other than these.

It might have been deleted but I don't find any deleted posts of yours.

What URL are you trying to follow?

If you don't mind you can forward the alert mail to me and maybe I can find out more.

Have you changed your displayname between posts?

I haven't changed my display name or any other name. I did find it once (I think by going to my alerts) - at that time I added it to my favourites. The URL is: http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=576093&SiteID=25&mode=1

It is in another site for the forums.

http://forums.microsoft.com/genuine

If you go there first and then choose my threads you should see it but you will not see this thread you have made here. I can follow the link and I get to the post.

This explain your post count and why it is 2 more than number of posts you have in this site (MSDN).
