Hi,
When i try to install Teamserver 2005 after installing sql 2005, i get error message to uninstall prerelease products like framework 2.0 beta version.When i remove framework 2.0 beta and install Teamserver 2005, setup fails saying sql server is not running.
Sql 2005 is corrupted as soon as i remove framework 2.0 beta version
Help me out

First Install Framework 2.0 shipped with TFS2005 then install SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 and after installing SQL Server install TFS 2005.

you mean to say that i should go to dual server installation of TFSand then i should "install the team foundation databases tier only" for sql 2005

TFS use Framework 2.0 Beta 2, so you need SQL Server 2005 Beta 2, it seems that you have the SQL Serve 2K5 Beta 1. And If you have SQL Server 2K5 in TFS CDs then it will be SQL Server 2005 Beta 2,

i dont have sql 2005 in tfs cds and i am downloading sql 2005 express edition, hope this will be sql server beta2 version.

You can download Final Trial Edition of TFS 2005 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=D5C12289-F4E4-49A9-9235-AB2F6D4CA097&displaylang=en which will work with SQL Express Edition but remember to download SQL Server Express Edition Advanced or SQL Server 2005 Trail Edition. You can download SQL Express edition with advanced features from http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/download/
I am afriad that Simple SQL Express will not work with TFS because there are some feathers that required for TFS are missing in Simple Express edition.

i have downloaded both from the above url.
1. first i installed .net framework 2.0 separately and restarted the server
2.i extracted the downloaded sql server express edition advanced 2005 and when i run the setup.exe it says
"sql server has detected incompatible from beta versions of visual studi,.net framework, or sql 2005.user add/remove programs to remove these compnents , and then run sql server setup again"
only framework 2.0 is installed. when i remove the framework 2.0 and start installing sql server then again i am back struck with TFS installation.
