Window CE Emulator in VS2005 Beta

Hi Guys,

i've installed VS2005 Beta,but i can't find WindowsCE emulator on device's list, how can i use WindowsCE Emulator ?

with VS2003 it is present and it works very good.

There are plans to release Windows CE 5.0 images for the current Device Emulator. However, these images will not ship with Visual Studio 2005.

Thank for answer, but i'm not sure is clear what i mean(sorry for my english)...

imy config. is :

VS2003
VS2005
XP Prof. SP2

on VS2003 i see and i can work with WCE emulator,but i can't do the same with VS2005(there are a lot of emulator- Pocket PC,SmartPhone -,nut not WCE emulator,only WCE Device )

i downloaded and installed these ones :

Window CE 5.0 emulator
Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK
Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK
Windows Mobile 5.0 SDKs

WinCE Emulator work by himself,but i can't deploy appl by using VS2005 because it's not present on device's list...how i can i do ?

The Visual Studio 2005 does not contain Windows CE Device Emulator. In other words, this support for Windows CE Emulator that was present in VS2003 has been dropped in the shipping version of VS2005. However, we are trying to release support for Windows CE 5.0 in the DeviceEmulator outside of the official Visual Stdio2005. We will post more information on this forum in future.

I just buy the VIsual Studio 2005 ,and haven't found anything wrong,

maybe I don't know how to use it totoally? Tongue Tied
