Urgent help regd reducing the size and backing up of SQL Server Transaction log file

hi all,

I have got some problem while taking back up of sql server transaction log file.
Now its size is nearly 60 GB. And we have got less space in the server.

so my idea is I need to take back up of this transaction log file at the same
to wann reduce the size of transaction log file. But Im not sure how could I do this.

Is there any experts help me out from this problem.

I appreciate yours vauable suggestions.
