Setup hangs

Question 1:
I choose to install the whole thing. Then it installs and it takes very very long time, but i see the progressbar i slightly filling up. Then at the very end it hangs up when installing/extracting some kind of images. Dont remember exactly what it stand... And it was at the very end and i checked everything it worked "almost". I havent understand the program yet...
Question 2: I tryed to connect to a server and it found my server as the default. I tryed to connect and it came a error; The server is not responding... I need help to configurate it... Maybe i havent look around in the forum so much after these questions but... There must be something i have done wrong?

To trouble shoot your setup failure you need to look at the logs. First start with %Program Files%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\log\Summary.txt. This will point you to the component that failed to install. It will also point you to the log file for the install of that component. It'll be something like: %Program Files%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\log\files\*.log.

When you open that log file do a search for "Value 3". This will take you to the section of the log that contains the error. If you can't determine the problem go ahead and copy/paste that section of the log in this group.

I have fixed Question 1 now... I tryed to reinstall 2 times. Then it worked! But this connection thing i still need help with... Please someone?
