.NET 1.1 FxCop 1.32 SDK Documentation

Hi all, I am new to FxCop, and can clearly see its advantages.

However, I am unable to find any documentation as to how to use the SDK that accompanies the application version 1.32.

I am eager to delve into FxCop to utilise it, but without API direction, I can see that I will potentially be introducing more bugs into my current set.

This is probably best to be answered by the FxCop team, but I'm here now so I will have a crack.

There is no current documentation for the 1.32 SDK. I believe that there are still going to be a large number of changes to it in the future and hence they will be holding off until it is a little more stable.

However, saying that there are a number of sites that provide information on building rules or provide existing rules that you can as your base (like mine). Simply search for 'fxcop rules' in google.

Also have a peruse over the old message board on GotDotNet as there are a number of helpful posts from the FxCop team.
