Yes. Before you install make your PC as clean as you possibly can. Completely remove previosly installed versions of SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2005.

No, they do not work together because the framework versions are different.
You will need to install the Beta 2 VS 2005 in order to work with the version of SQL you have.
