ANN:VS Extensibility pre-conference session at PDC

Visual Studio Extensibility day at PDC

The VS Extensibility team will be providing a pre-conference session on Monday September 12 at the Professional Developer’s Conference in Los Angeles. This 6 hour pre-con is a modified version of the VS Extensibility Dev Labs regularly held by Microsoft. This is a great opportunity for partners to get in-depth extensibility training while also learning about all the new things being talked about at PDC. A wide range of topics will be covered, as the pre-conference session abstract makes clear:

As a platform, Visual Studio is incredibly versatile. Well over 250 companies are developing tools that tightly integrate into Visual Studio, providing new languages, debuggers, custom editors, testing tools, and more. This precon dives into the technologies that make this happen, including: creating packages; extending DTE objects; Project System Customization; Language Services for both native and managed languages; ToolWindows; and help integration. You will take away a wealth of new information, enabling you to build your own applications tightly integrated into Visual Studio.

We strongly recommend this session to developers who need the nitty-gritty on VS Extensibility.
