i use the VC 2005 Express Edition Beta 2

I am guessing this post is related to your other post of not finding windows.h.

Express edition doesn't install the PSDK headers which windows.h is one of them.

You either need to install the PSDK seperately or install a pro, or TS version of VS2005.
