Cannot report alerts to my cell phone...

Yes yes, blah blah blah, i've read the "I am not getting Alerts, Help" post, and i've also written to mobile.msn.com

Just want to get my 2 1/2 cents in here because it's annoying as hail and this is another place I can scream and shout about it.

I have successfully registered my T-Mobile phone (entered the confirmation code) and I have followed every help file and troubleshooter suggestion over and over and over and over, and the g.d. alerts page will not under any circumstance or condition take the red "X" off my cell phone as a potential delivery location. Doesn't matter how I configure my alerts, or delivery settings, EVERY single alert I try to configure shows my phone as not available for delivering messages to.

I live in Seattle, Washington

I have T-Mobile

My phone is a Samsung t809

Go ahead and suggest whatever you like... I can pretty much guarantee its NOT going to be a solution, and when not enough people are affected by a problem, it NEVER gets solved.... a.k.a. printing a directory list from File Explorer. Microsoft just doesn't give a terd if a problem affects less than 100,000 people.

Hi,

Did you try reporting the same problem to the T-mobile service provider?

Thank you,
Bhanu.

Why would I report it to T-Mobile? It's Microsoft's website that won't recognize my phone as a delivery source. There's nothing special about my phone, I can receive text messages from other sources. It's Microsoft's problem.

I haven't seen a reply to this. I know that the forums team is looking into mobile solutions for the next version of forums which I believe will be released late this summer. I will pass the feedback on to the team. Thanks!
