If a user types in a word that filtered out (replaced with "***") this does not occur when the alert email is composed.
The alert email should be consistent and should not allow another user to send words otherwise not displayed in the form to another user just because they have email alerts.

Weird, I can see the "***" that Testing User posted; but not the "***" that Joe posted (except for the "***" that appeared in the alert message that was sent outlining Joe's post).

Me, personally, any of the words currently filtered don't offend me. So, for me, this isn't a high-priority issue. The only reason I posted about it is because I know it's a issue for other people.
Also, based on the contents of this thread it appears that words aren't always filtered out. e.g. post 596996 doesn't filter out the first word; but other posts in this thread do...
Well, it's not a first-word-of-the-post thing...
