Network Printing Issue
We are developing a monolithic XPS driver. When we try client-server printing ( point & print ) we are facing some issues.
We installed XPS driver on server and able to print test page. When we try installing this XPS driver on a client from the server, we are getting "Can not connect to server ..." error. Both server and client are logged in as administrators. After repeated trials we are able to install the printer driver on client. But when we try to print the print job just hangs.
Do we need to do any extra processing for client-server printing to work ? Or there any changes in DrvPrinterEvent and DrvDocumentEvent functionality from Windows XP for VISTA ? ( We are using UI module which we have developed for Windows XP, with PT/PC support ).
