Hi Rdan - I'm sorry for all the troubles you're having here. All MSDN Subscribers have access to MSDN Subscriber Downloads, but as you've found out access is not automatic - you have to register first, and associate your MSDN Subscriber ID (also sometimes called a Benefit Access Number) with a Passport id.

If you are a regular MSDN subscriber, your subscriber id should be on your subscription card. Do you still have this card?

Well, I've now spent about 4 hours trying to find this accursed Capacity Planner.

I have an active MSDN Professional subscription, I have associated my Passport with the Subscriber ID.

I've manually searched the Manage Subscription list and I've used the automated search. Nothing comes up under "System Center Capacity Planner" or "Capacity Planner". I've scrolled through the entire list generated by searching on - System Center Capacity Planner, and can't find anything that remotely resembles the tool.

I wish I'd never seen this forum.

This is worrying - it's not supposed to be that hard to find! I've just confirmed that this works from here:

On the Subscription Management Page, click on Subscriber Downloads.

On Subscriber Downloads, go to the tree control in the left side of the page. Expand the "Servers" node and scroll down.

You should see System Center Capacity Planner 2006 (English) as an option.

If any MSDN subscriber can't see SCCP on their Subscriber Downloads page, please email me at jonathan_hardwick@hotmail.com with your country, and your MSDN subscription type (e.g. "VST - Suite" - you can find this at the top of the tree control).

From the "MSDN Subscriber Downloads" page, in the left hand pane under servers, I see:

Customer Care Framework
Software Update Services
SQL Server
Windows Sharepoint Services

Expanding these or any of the other lines doesn't reveal the SCCP.

I've searched the entire MSDN download for SCCP, 'system center capacity planner', 'capacity planner', 'system capacity', etc and scrolled through the hundreds of returned listings and still find no SCCP.

We've identified why some MSDN subscribers aren't seeing the download, and we're working with two other groups to get the problem fixed. I'll post again as soon as I have any more information.
