"Webs do not support linked files" Exception

Hi All,

Whenever i wish to add files to a webservice programmatically using

objVSWebsite.Project.ProjectItems.AddfromFile(filename)

It throws exception--Webs do not support linked files

Can somebody please let me know the remedy of this exception
