Destinator ( Ver 3 ) load error

I am using
Microsoft Device Emulator 1.0 Community PreviewOn a XP SP2 box I run Emulate Pocket PC WM 2003 SE
I have ActiveSync 3.7 working OK and can copy files etc between the PC and "device" ( Guest Partnership )
On attempting to load an application, Destinator ( Ver 3 ) from PC to the device I get the error,
"Cannot get power status "
I am not a developer….. But can anyone offer suggestions on what to try.

The device emulator does not emulate the battery power status that this application probably depends on. This feature was not included as part of version 1.0 but it will be considered for the next version of the device emulator.If the application stops after this error, i would suggest you contact the developers of this application so they can handle this error condition.

I could see that many “domestic” users would want full functionality when this comes out of beta ….so they can “play” with software….
I don’t even own a Pocket PC device yet…. However, seeing what it can do via the emulator has spurred my interest in getting one… Maybe someone could use the final version as a marketing tool .

Also kindly let us know if power management fetaures will be introduced in the next version of emulator?

It is very likely that the power management features will be included in the next version of the emulator. As for a release date, it is still not determined at this point. The emulator team would like to make available an updated "preview" version and they are actively looking into it.
