How to post?

When I try to post here, I get no errors, but I am stuck forever at the dialog where the Post button is.
I just noticed that if I temporarily turn on referrer logging, then I am instead forwarded to a page about enabling Alerts, and I am stuck there.
Are any of my posts appearing? (I'm refreshing my view in another tab, and I'm not seeing them.)

The answer appears to be that the user must turn on referrer logging long enough to make each post, or this board just stalls in infinite loops.

I have no idea what "referrer logging" is, your firewall or similar settings I assume. I know I had to edit the "Privacy" settings in Zone Alarm to get posting to work. Highly frustrating when you just sit their clicking post and nothing happens.

I think I know what might be happening. If you select below your post to "Alert Me", you are taken to a page about alerts right after you click "Post".

On the MSN Alerts page, if you don't want the alert, then just click "Cancel", and it will take you back to your (posted) post. You can also choose to unselect "Alert Me" right below the text box where you type your post. If the "Alert Me" is unchecked, your post will show up right away. Does that help?

I'm going to assume that since you have been able to post these few responses, you must be doing better. Feel free to unmark my reply as an answer if you want to reopen this issue.
