Does anyone know about any copyright or licence (NDA) restrictions that might prevent me from exporting a VSTS methodology template and then redistributing it? I'm currently using Beta II, but will any restrictions apply to the released product?

I'm hopeful that it won't be necessary to regenerate all the XML by hand!

Sounds good. Perhaps if you can get specific about the help you are looking out for, I can help with the right resources.

MSF customization guides are available in the VSTS beta 2 which you can download from http://msdn.microsoft.com/teamsystem

These guides have info on how you can customize the existing MSF templates and guidance for IIIrd party processes or extend them to include your home grown best practices.

I've already downloaded the MSF for Agile Software Development - Beta 2 PT which is later than the one supplied with Beta II (April 05) as well as the VSTS Extensibility Kit Beta 2. Is there anything more that I should look at?

The problems I have at present are:

1. Resolving the licence / copyright issues regarding exporting the MSF Agile MethodologyTemplate, adapting it, and then posting it on the GotDotNet workspace. Can I do this?

2. Obtaining the build tool for the Process Guidance so that I can make it consistent with my adapted MethodologyTemplate. It isn't in the Extensibility kit and it doesn't seem to the available at http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/teamsystem/workshop/msfagile/default.aspx as suggested in the documentation.

3. Resolving the various bugs/issues posted under "adapting CurrituckTasks.xml"

In terms of more genereal help I'm looking for people to join the project at http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/bsdagile to supply content, make suggestions and test any Process template we create.
