WDS crash under Citrix

Hello

We have 2 Citrix-Servers on W3k Standard Server. The users are connecting to the servers with ThinClients over Citrix.

We have now some multiple entities:

1. The WDS does not start at logon and when the User starts it, the message "WDS isn't running" is diplayed. The strange thing is, it is running...

2. The message "The WDS index isn't working properly. To fix this problem, you'll need to restart your computer, and you may need to rebuild the index. Select one of the following options..." is displayed.

3. Application Error The exception Breakpoint. A breakpoint has been reached (0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x7c822583

WDS version 2.6.5 with the patch

Any idea how we can solve this problems?

Please see the following in responses to your questions:

1. This situation usually occurs when a user has more than one session running on the terminal server. Ideally, the user should have a single session running.

2. If you are using a roaming profiles set-up with build 5401 you may want to rebuild the index.

3. This should be fixed by #2 above (if my assumptions are correct).

Yes, there is just one session running.

You mean build 5401 of the terminal server right? we needs roaming profiles because the loadbalancing.

By build 2.6.5.5401 I am referencing WDS with the roaming profiles hotfix applied. The standard WDS build is 2.6.5.5378. In order to use roaming profiles you need to appy a hotfix which updates the WDS build to 2.6.5.5401.

I have tried this fix but I am still getting the errors when publishing this application to Citrix for offsite users. Do you have any suggestions for configuring the app? I am running a Windows 2003 server. We need this app to work on Citrix if we are going to implement it company wide. We have tested other Desktop Search app's and this one is the best solution for what we are looking for but it must work with Citrix.
