changing page display

heya al- just got abit of a prob with my coding. Ive got code 4 a project im doin in web devloper- but when i load the page to a local host the screen loads too big. Is there a property whereby i can specify the size of my layout of the page? i am aware i can change it through changing each table etc but isnt there a tool where you can speicfy the page to layout on specifc pixel size? e.g. geting my current page to fit on a 800x600pixel monitor?
