Alert Me

The thread alert system sends an alert email days after a user replies to my post.

A user posted a reply to one of my posts on Sept. 02; I received an alert email on Sept. 14. Today, Sept. 16, I created a new thread and clicked the 'Alert' button. A user replied but I received no alert email. I discovered the reply only after manually checking my thread.

Please fix so alerts are sent immediately.

Actually, alerts were down for a couple of weeks. They were recently brought back online. What you're seeing is the alert system trying to catch up... Normally you'll get alerts very close to when the post was added (within reason).
