setting parameters to wmp in a web page

I am not sure if its the right place to ask.

I want to embed wmp in a web page.

the user will be asked to download a dsp wmp plug-in.

now how can I set or change from the page script the values that the plug-in read and use.

usually these properties can be change from the property

page in the stand along mode.

let's say I have a dip plug-in that changes the video to

B/W by attribute name "b&w".

I want to change this value dynamically from the web page

while the user watch the video?

I hope someone can help me with that.
