MSXML 6.0 parser is not supported by the Processor type

Hi All,

I'm caught in a huge problem. I am using Windows server 2003 (64 bit) and Intel XEON (3 GHz) processor with 8 GB Ram. While installing the MSXML6.msi (downloaded from microsoft) I am getting this type of message "MSXML 6.0 parser is not supported by the Processor type" and the installation is terminated. Can anyone please tell me why this error is coming and what is the outcomes.

Have you tried msxml6_ia64.msi or msxml6_x64.msi instead of msxml6.msi? Sounds more what you need for a 64 bit system (although I have no clue which one is right for the system you describe).
