Microsoft.UDDI.dll vs Microsoft.UDDI.Sdk.dll ?

Hello ,

I've a question: What is the difference between "Microsoft.UDDI.dll" and "Microsoft.UDDI.Sdk.dll" ?

Please help clarifying these stuff. Thanks ahead.

Microsoft.Uddi.dll is the common language runtime library for the Microsoft UDDI SDK, and Microsoft.Uddi.Sdk.dll contains the actual SDK.

I've read both articles already. Thanks for your help.

actually the source code based Microsoft.Uddi.Sdk.dll could not run with Microsoft.Uddi.dll. and It requires some more efforts to make that works. While it seems that is impossible to get the root categories list from UDDI server with using Microsoft.Uddi.Sdk.dl but possible with using Microsoft.Uddi.dll.
I still dont know why must we have this difference. Why did not they do the same ? This makes me confuse.

Excuse me,

I'm tripping like a mad in the microsoft site looking for the uddi sdk installation.

I installed the 03/2006 SDK platform for win ser 2003 r2 where there is the documentation but not the sdk

I found just the uddi 2.0 beta , but is quite old!!!

Can you tell me where I can find this sdk, please?

I have the same question as Thanh Dao asked earlier about what's

the difference between Microsoft.UDD.dll and Microsoft.UDDI.Sdk.dll...

The Microsoft.UDDI.dll is part of the Microsoft Platform SDK

installation, and the Microsot.UDDI.Sdk.dll is part of the UDDI .Net

SDK V2.0 Beta (latest). They definitely not contain the same

APIs, yet both claim to support UDDI V2.0 standards. Am I missing

something? Very confused. Please help!

hi, i'm finding very difficult to get the UDDI SDK !

on MSDN pages i've experienced many HTTP 404 - page not found.

i've downloaded the "Microsoft Platform SDK for Windows Server 2003 R2" but i've not found the SDK.

I've UDDI services installed on Server 2003: wich SDK ( and UDDI DLL) is to use ? But, overall, Where & How i can get it ?

There are two Beta's before the 2.0 release.

The uddi.sdk refers to the beta.
