Need a Grid in Timesheet application
Hi All,
I'm new to this forum. We are planning to develop a Windows based Timesheet application in C#. It should mimic the existing VB 6.0 application in terms of look and feel. The existing VB 6.0 application uses Sheridian Grid. It has cell colors, lookup buttons etc.
The query I have is,
1. Is it a good idea to use a 3rd party grid in C# based Windows forms? If so, can anyone suggest a good 3rd party grid compatible with .net.
2. Is it possible to customize datagrid in windows forms to get the same look and feel? (color, lookup buttons, cell level and row level events etc)?
Also, please let me know how long will it take to develop a robust grid in C#.net (by customizing Datagrid or using combination of existing controls)
I sadly have to provide an estimate also :-)
