VBA Editor fails to start from Access 2003

I get the following dialog when I try to start the VBA editor from within Access 2003.

***********

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCWSS.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate if in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

*****************

This modal dialog pops up in front of the editor and when I press the OK button, which is the only one available, it shuts down that instance of Access along with the editor window.

This dialog pops up whenever I try to start the VBA editor from within Access 2003. It does not matter if it is a new file I just created or an existing mdb file that I have existing code in. This just started for no apperant reason today and I can think of no cause. Prior to this I have succesfully been using the VBA editor from within Access on this computer to write code for a number of databases I support. I have done both a repair and a total reinstall of Access on this machine with no change. Any ideas are appriciated. Incidently the VBA editor will start fine from Word or Excel.

Thanks,

Scott

Thanks Curt

No I have not! I am going to do something drastic soon, like reinstall everything, but I don't have time for the disruption to other projects just yet. I can't find any help and the frustrating thing is that I am sure it is something simple, once I find it.
