WDS does not index NTFS mount point

My C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents folder is set up as an NTFS mount point for another volume. It is not listed as a child of the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users folder in the Windows Desktop Search "Indexed Locations" window, and is not indexed.

Is there any way to force WDS to index this folder/mount? I am using version 3.0 Beta 2 with the Office 2007 Beta 2 Refresh.

Thanks,

Maverick

Hello Maverick,

I also use NTFS junctions. Have you tried to add the target to WDS?

Thomas,

In WDS 3.0 beta 2 that I am using, I do not seem to have the option to select arbitrary folders at al. I only have a treeview listing my drives and Outook, but no "Add folder" button or similar, and the Shared Documents folder does not appear in the treeview.

Any ideas?

Maverick
