Does blocking of port 9100 makes soap service not to respond?

Hi guys,

I am facing a problem in running the syncsession sample provided by CSF.I can invoke the Cdyne web service but I am not able to invoke the date time web service. I tried making a sample web service in the local web server. I checked that my port number 9100 is blocked so will it make a difference. If yes what?

Is there a work around so that I can change the port number for soap request only from CSF.

Regards,

Venu

Hi Venu,

Thanks for your note - my colleague Senthil has previously answered a similar question - here is what he said:

Check that you are able to query the cdyne web service WSDL using the following URL.

http://ws.cdyne.com/delayedstockquote/delayedstockquote.asmx?WSDL

The sample connects to a service which is in the internet. So you need to have internet connection from where you are trying to create the session.

Many Thanks, Venu!!!
