ruler guide for textbox/richtextbox

Has anyone tried creating a ruler guide for a textbox, similar to the one in ms word?

I thought might be fun to try, going to attempt place it on the form and maybe sync it to line scoll in a textbox.

I dont see any samples or even discussions about this so may not be possible.

Will post results if I succeed.
