I'll be the first to agree that FreeTextBox is really cool, and allows some awesome formatting of forum posts, but it is also incredibly slow on poor internet lines! The forum post page is about 63KB big, WITHOUT IMAGES. Until a rich text box becomes a standard control that can be added to web pages, and is handled by the browser (think <INPUT type=richedit here) the simple bbcode-style editors will have to be enough, not everyone has 2048k lines with unlimited bandwidth!
